Guidelines for Gathering Safely

The following are a few guidelines for best practices for gathering safely as we get back together, please be patient with, and honor others.

  • Let love be without hypocrisy. Abhor what is evil. Cling to what is good. Be kindly affectionate to one another with brotherly love, in honor giving preference to one another (Rom. 12:9-10)
  • Therefore if there is any consolation in Christ, if any comfort in love, if any fellowship of the Spirit, if any affection and mercy, fulfill my joy be being like-minded, having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind. Let nothing be done through selfish ambition or conceit, but in lowliness of mind let each esteem others better than himself. Let each of you look out not only for his own interests, but also for the interests of others. (Phil. 2:1-4)
  • Hand Washing:
    • We will have multiple hand sanitation pumps throughout the building and upon entrance into the building.
    • We ask that all who enter the building apply hand sanitizer upon entry.
  • Face Coverings:
    • We are strongly encouraging the use of face masks since our gatherings are larger than 10 people.
    • A limited amount of face masks will be available for those who do not have one.
    • Children under two years old, according to CDC guidelines, are not to wear face coverings.
    • Face coverings are meant to protect other people in case the wearer is unknowingly infected but does not have symptoms.
  • Social Distancing:
    • At this time, we are asking people to refrain from physical contact with those outside of their family during the service (i.e., hugging, handshaking, fist bumping, etc.)
  • Nursery/Childcare:
    • Children are permitted to remain with their parents throughout the service. The fellowship room will be available for seating as well if you feel it would be a better fit for your family.
    • Childcare and Children’s Ministry classes are available from the beginning of service for those who choose to take advantage of the offer.
    • We will be offering Nursery care through elementary aged children Sunday School classes. Please sign in your children as normal.
  • Other Safety Guidelines:
    • If you do not feel well or have been sick recently, please stay home for the sake of others. This applies to both adults and children. We ask that you refrain from joining us at this time and wait for a clean bill of health prior to joining us for service.
    • For those who don’t feel comfortable coming to this type of setting or if you have a compromised immune system, the service will continue to be streamed live online via our church Facebook page.

We thank you all in advance for your flexibility and your willingness to accommodate with these guidelines to the best of your ability. We look forward to coming together to worship the Lord and to enjoy the fellowship of the body of Christ. In due season, we will look to adjust these guidelines as the Lord leads.
